Wonder Drug was founded in 1999 by Benj Thall, Andrew Levine, Albert Bugoff and Coleman Engellenner. The founding partners met while attending the University of Southern California, and collaborated on many film projects before graduating. While working together, the partners discovered that combining their original styles and talents generated a unique and unconventional vision.

During their first year as a corporation, Wonder Drug produced a commercial reel consisting of six television spots. Using their contacts in the industry and their body of work, Wonder Drug Productions produced highly successful commercial campaigns such as Salesmountain.com's Holiday sales promotion.

In 2000, Wonder Drug took on another partner, Michael Karsh, who helped develop Outrun America and Synergy, two television reality series treatments that gained notoriety from such networks as USA Studios and MTV. Currently the five Wonder Drug partners have two feature films in development. They are pursuing commercial contracts and are in the planning stage of two music videos.
